55 OVATION

Making its debut in February, 2009, the Ovation 55 Sport Yacht is the second in a series of prestige yachts manufactured by Silverton Marine Corporation. The Ovation series achieves a new level of refinement for Silverton.

The Ovation is one of the first production boats in the world to employ triple 600 Volvo IPS engines. The engine’s geometry allows it to be positioned much farther aft, resulting in a 30-inch savings in usable space. Volvo’s standard joystick offers one-handed maneuverability and unmatched docking capabilities. The underwater exhaust system eliminates diesel fumes, soot, and smoke while it significantly dampens noise.

Sheltered by an extended overhang, the large cockpit features a hydraulic swim platform. A stylish transom bench seat and wet bar are standard, and convenient engine-room access is located in the cockpit sole. A telescoping three-piece sliding glass-door system, with polished stainless steel frame, opens to a 4-ft. main-cabin entrance.

Her cherry wood main cabin features portside incliners (separated by a table with optional wine chiller) and a starboardside curved upholstered lounge. The dinette area is raised and includes a large navigation center and entertaining area which features a wet bar and under counter refrigerator. This area offers guests a 360° panoramic view through the yacht’s full-width windshield, a large opening skylight, sliding cockpit doors, and screened side windows. Bathed in natural light, the main cabin is ideal for entertaining.

Below decks, you'll find a full galley furnished with plenty of storage and all the necessities to craft and elegant meal. The large open area above the galley contributes to an open, airy, naturally-lit feeling in this area. A spacious forward VIP stateroom is enriched by warm cherry wood. A walkaround queen-sized bed and port and starboard cedar-lined wardrobes are the principal amenities of this luxurious space. Following a split-head arrangement, the portside enclosed shower is privately accessed from the VIP stateroom. A starboard-side vanity and commode are accessed from the passageway for use as a day head, or entered privately from the VIP stateroom.

The largest in its class, the spacious full-beam master stateroom features a walkaround queen-sized bed flanked by cherry nightstands, two cedar-lined wardrobes, and a private head. You may include a convenient optional stackable washer/dryer system that is accessed in the master.

From the cockpit, ascend the safe, wide, molded-in stairs to the sundeck to experience a large alfresco entertaining area complete with optional refrigerator and icemaker. The spacious sundeck area an industry first, and will provide an elegant venue for relaxing or entertaining.
